What are the technical barriers to enterprise blockchain adoption? Do these barriers shape the use cases for blockchain more than the opportunities? Answering these questions in four minutes might be harder than creating a blockchain in five. One thing is certain: by the end of this elevator pitch we will have tried both. Xooa was born when we challenged ourselves to create a cloud service that provides a usable enterprise blockchain in minutes. We believed that altering the cost equation for blockchain will create new and hitherto unexplored applications for the technology. I will demonstrate the creation of a blockchain, identify the components of a practical deployment, and discuss the evolution of our thinking.
