Zhi Guan, professor of Peking University and creator of GmSSL opensource project will give an introduction to China Commercial Cryptography(SM) and guidance for using GmSSL in Hyperledger projects. He will introduce state of the art technologies of the optimization of SM and share his experience about how to implement SM.

GmSSL is one of the best open source cryptographic toolbox that supports SM2/SM3/SM4/SM9/ZUC and other China commercial cryptography algorithms. It can be used to build the PKI/CA system and security applications compatible with the requirements of the national standards. The GmSSL project is a branch of the OpenSSL project and is compatible with OpenSSL, so it can be easily used in applications based on OpenSSL. GmSSL is widely used by Huawei/Baidu/Tencent and other companies since its high-performance and well-maintained.
